The "Pathways to Freedom" project ended in April 2023, but SOS Children's Villages Association will continue to support young people leaving care in the regional cities where we piloted the service "Support for independent and independent living": Sofia, Pernik, Plovdiv, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Veliko Tarnovo and Gabrovo.

Eligible candidates for using the social service "Support for independent living" are:

1. Young people over 16 years of age who live in alternative care (foster care, residential social service, family of relatives).

2. Young people who have lived in alternative care and have left no more than 12 months ago, unless at the time of application they have been successfully adopted or reintegrated into their biological families. Please read the Guidelines for Applicants:

Applying for support is done by completing and sending an Application for Support, a Declaration for the Processing of Personal Data and a Declaration of Consent from a parent/guardian/guardian.
